The IAC's objective is to provide support to the AcSB on technical issues arising during the incorporation of
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) into Canadian GAAP, and beyond. IAC meetings are normally
open to the public, but portions will be held in camera at the discretion of the Chair.

the IASB Discussion Paper “Reducing Complexity in Reporting Financial Instruments;”

Canadian Performance Reporting Board proposals for MD&A disclosures;

update of IFRS Canadian GAAP comparisons;

responses to Exposure Draft “Adopting IFRSs in Canada”;

consideration of a public IFRS discussion group; and
-
members’ observations of implementation issues in practice.
Observers must complete the observer registration
form (PDF) and return it by August 21, 2008 (see guidelines for observers). Observers are welcome to attend the
meeting in person.
